How to import character ai chats in moemate?
Importing character ai chats to moemate is as easy as importing moemate’s own chats. All you need is the CAI tools extension. Which can be installed in chrome from here:

- Once the extension is installed, You can head over to your character in character ai. You should be able to see a “CAI Tools” button on top right.
- Click the “CAI Tools” button and select “Download as Tavern Chat”
- Now head over to your character in moemate. Click the Dropdown button (chat settings) on top right of chat and open “Manage Chats”
- Open the “Manage Chats” section and click add, import the downloaded jsonl file from Character ai and enjoy your chats.
